Irinikos Villa is an 80 square meter property built partly through 2003 and 2004. It is finished internally and externally in the traditional white colour and texture used throughout the Greek Islands.

All external doors and windows are double-glazed and fitted with French louvre shutters, which offer protection from the fierce heat of the summer sun.

Irinikos Villa has light terra cotta tile flooring throughout. The high rafted ceilings in the living area are finished in natural pine, as are all rooms of the villa.

Covered pergolas have been fitted to the front and side of Irinikos Villa, which also provides shady seating area next to the swimming pool.

Irinikos Villa is almost north / south facing and as such, the pool, patio areas and the gardens receive the maximum amount of sunlight all day long.

Hot water for the villa is provided by a 120 Litre solar powered system. This system is supplemented by a 4Kw electric immersion heater.

Access roads up to the villa, which is situated on top of the hill, lead to a parking area sufficient for one or two cars.

The modern kitchen has facilities to prepare for every type of meal. Fitted with a large fridge, separate freezer, electric oven, ceramic hob and extractor hood. All kitchen utensils, a kettle, toaster and microwave have been provided for your use. There is sufficient cutlery and crockery for 6 guests.

Should you choose to wash clothing during your stay, a washing machine has been installed for your use. A steam iron, ironing board and clothes airer are also available for your conveniences.

The main bedroom has a double bed, two bedside cabinets, ample wardrobe space, a wall mounted portable T.V. with DVD and an en-suite bathroom. This room has a double glazed patio door with external louvre shutters. It leads directly onto the pool and patio area for that early morning dip.

The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, a bedside cabinet and generous wardrobe space. This bedroom also has a double glazed patio door with external louvre shutters and it too leads onto the patio and pool area.

The large living area has been furnished with traditional hand crafted and locally made bamboo furniture. The three piece suite is nicely upholstered with deeply padded comfortable seating and there is a matching coffee table. A traditional wood burning Cretan style fireplace is situated in one corner of the living area. There is a Colour TV with a separate DVD and Video player complimented by a satellite system and VHS Video Recording Unit. You will also be able to use the stereo system which is equipped with both cassette tape and CD player.

The dining area is furnished with traditional hand crafted, locally made bamboo furniture. The dining table will amply seat up to 6 people and comprises of a 1 meter glass topped. table with 4 recliner type chairs and two stools.

The chamfered rectangular shaped exclusive swimming pool is 32 square meters in size. and depths vary from 1.2m to 1.7m. The terrace area around the pool is paved with traditional Cretan slate and the perimeter finished with low stone walls. A patio set, reclining sun beds and barbecue have also be provided for your pleasure.

Cretan stone walls and landscaped gardens now surround the Villa. There is also a wrought iron fence and safety wall along the top edge of the property to ensure a safe and un-encumbered view of the beautiful valley some 15 meters below.

ALL ABOUT IRINIKOS VILLA.

Plantings include a variety of fruit trees, flowering shrubs and perennial flowers. An integral irrigation system has been fitted to help keep the plants at their best all year round.

The Villa has been fitted with external PIR lighting to automatically greet you as you approach. Additional lighting is provided for the pergola and poolside areas, handy for your evening pool side entertainment!

To the rear of the villa is unique wrought iron veranda which maximises the villa's elevated hilltop location. It provides a spectacular panoramic view over a valley filled with olive groves and fruit trees. The foothills of the beautiful Psiloreitis and Kouloukonas Mountains dominate your view as it sweeps across the valley. This mountain range is home to the highest point in Crete and is snow capped during the short winter months. The view takes in the village of Roumeli and a view of the sea as well.
